Sharon "Guppy" Litchfield went home to the Lord on Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Her service to those in need was an example to all seeking the Lord. She faithfully worked for over 40 years in service to the Church, last helping with the Sacred Heart Sandwich Program. Many homeless people enjoyed her smile and comfort in trying times, and wept at her passing. Upon retirement, she continued to serve the Lord by traveling to Guam to take care of seminarians.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
